Halo Contact Us – Custom Designed – WordPress Plugin

hi everyone in this video I'm going to talk about a Halo PSA plug-in that I've developed for WordPress so what this effectively does very very simple um it's a contact us form so from your website you have your information where a customer can contact you so let's just put this information in and let's just do this at so I've put in all of our information then you can say you know need help with so fill in our form and we simply click the submit button so what this will now do is this will come in uh form has been submitted if we go into Halo itself uh and we just look inside our opportunities we can see that this is actually created an opportunity directly within Halo so uh need help with it so we simply click on here once this opens up we'll be able to see there was the information that we put into the title um you know here's our need it help and we've also created contact details in here so we know the name of the company uh we know obviously who that's all come from the phone number it all gets entered in uh at this point so now we're not having to manually go and enter this information in when we want to capture contact information what it also does at the same time is it also sends us an email so we can then straight away see um the information that is captured in here so how does that work basically it's just a WordPress plugin so if we click on Halo PSA forms what we need to do is enter our license key and we simply need to find our resource and authorization server we can do that by simply going into uh under the configuration API and then from the Halo API we will simply be able to find our resource and auth server and we put that information into there we also need a client ID and secret and then basically the way we would get that is to click on view applications create a new application you know call this whatever you want to call it we need a client secret um and then at this point we just choose the agent login and we can select all at this point now we have our client ID and if we click on edit and go back to generate we can then copy our client secret so those are the only bits of information that you need and then you simply test your connection and you're good to go what we then do is we determine in here the email address that we want to send that form to which is basically this form here so you can see that this says new submission on PSA consultant and then the information about that form we also have a short code so at this point we can just take the short code um and if we go to the page that we want the short code to appear on so I've got it on my contact us page I happen to be using elementa on this um but what we can do you can see here is the actual short code and with Elementor it gives you the ability to just enter that short code so this can be placed on any page and you're good to go at the moment this is pretty PR much the only form that we have which is the contact us form we are building out this forms application to allow us to create um uh you know to allow to custom create whatever forms you want and Link those to any uh any endpoint in uh in in Halo but for now this is what we've got um thank you for watching and if you have any questions uh or want to see anym let me know and uh look forward to speaking to you on the next one
