Autotask 101: Close Tickets without time

hi everyone christum here from sundel Consulting we are MSP Consultants specializing in helping msps get the best out of their PSA tool very often on Consulting calls I get asked the question of what is the best way to close tickets without having to enter time and this is actually possible in autotask so the normal way um if you find all of your tickets so if you go into your uh service desk and then search for tickets or use it from a widget what you will see is a list of tickets and once you got this list of tickets you can very very quickly go in and complete a whole bunch of tickets in one go without entering time the easiest way to do this is to Simply click on the tickets that you want or click this little button at the top here select this little drop- down box and then click forward and modify and when you click forward and modify it says to you what do you want to set the status to be and you simply say complete and save and close so it's now going to say um you know that there's some important checklist items that's fine we go ahead we complete this ticket and that's it job done those tickets are completed no time has been needed on them and you can see those tickets have now been marked as complete so thank you for watching and look forward to seeing you on the next video
